In my Ancient Rome tab there are five subtitles. The first is Roman geography which shows exactly why Italy was such a excellent place to live along with a map of ancient Italy. My second tab is all about the Roman social classes. There are two social class pyramids on there, the first show what it was like before the Plebeians rebelled so they could have more rights like the Patricians. The second pyramid shows how the Plebeians and Patricians became somewhat equal in the social class. The reason that their rebellion won was because they left, so no one was there to work on the city to keep it clean and safe. There also was no goods for anyone to buy because the Plebeians were the only craftsmen, potters, and jewelers. My third tab is a picture of the Coliseum. This picture tells a story of how advanced there technology was by showing that they created concrete to make these beautiful buildings. My fourth tab is a post card from a Roman city. The post card shows how much of an advanced civilization they were. In the post card it talks abut how their roads are exactly like ours today. They had sidewalks, gutters, speed bumps, and their roads were even paved! It also goes on to say how their entire city was advanced in using aqueducts and having a bath house with a hot and cool pool. My final tab is Roman emperors. This page shows all of the major emperors and a description about them. It goes from the beginning of the empire to its fall. Ancient rome had two types of government. It started as republic, which is where the people rule. It then later became an empire when Octavian takes the title of Augustus becoming the first emperor of Rome.
